Here's a re-cap of what else I learned...
- The #1 traffic complaint in Utah is that cars drive too slow in the fast lane on the freeway. (So it's not just me that's bugged by this. Whew!)
- Before you can switch lanes, you have to have signaled for 3 seconds. Know anyone who actually does this?
- When turning left, cram as many cars into the intersection as possible, so they can all turn left on a red.
- Utah is famous for the "moving roadbloack" or the "Utah wedge". 3 or 4 cars on the freeway going the exact same speed so that all traffic behind them can't pass.
My favorite thing of the night, though, was toward the end of the class when the instructor was about to give us a few final traffic questions and he said "If you don't know the answer, cheat". Good advice from a teacher, wouldn't you say?
