Once again, I find myself at the end of conference with a renewed determination to do, and to be better. During Elder Holland's talk, I found myself reflecting on his talk from October 2006. Once again, he spoke of the role of the prophet and testified of President Thomas S. Monson being called of God just prior to President Monson speaking. What a powerful witness it was of the living prophet!
This was the first time that general conference, in its entirety, was on the new technology that runs lds.org. Going into the conference, we did significant preparation and then we did much praying that the Lord would make up the difference and that people around the world would be able to view and listen to the words of the prophets online. There were a couple of small hiccups, but nothing major, and there were no significant outages. The site stayed up and hundreds of thousands of individuals were able to watch and listen to conference via lds.org. What a blessing it is to be a part of this great work and see the Lord's hand in all that we do!
