We recently launched a new website dedicated to the Savior. This site "affirms our faith in the Son of God and the need for all to come unto Him." With the release of this site, and the others that we have done recently, I'm reminded of this quote by President Hinckley:
"We are confident that as the work of the Lord expands, he will inspire men to develop the means whereby the membership of the Church, wherever they may be, can be counseled in an intimate and personal way by his chosen prophet. Communication is the sinew that binds the Church as one great family." - Ensign November, 1981
This new site provides the ability for people to watch videos of apostles and prophets sharing their testimonies of the Savior, read uplifting and inspiring articles on the life of the Savior, and feel of the spirit. I believe that this is part of what President Hinckley envisioned when he said individuals would be "counseled in an intimate and personal way by his chosen prophet."
