For the past 3 years, I have been working on the next version of lds.org. There's been a lot of bumps, hiccups, detours, roadblocks, and straight up catastrophes during those 3 years. But, through it all, we could feel the Lord's hand guiding our work. There have been many miracles and blessings, a lot of inspiration, and tremendous amount of hard work.
From the designers to the developers, from the QA guys to the project managers, everyone was involved with this project for a reason. I know that each person had something unique to contribute and we wouldn't have been able to accomplish what we did if we had been missing even one of these individuals.
As we were preparing to launch new.lds.org on Tuesday, August 31, Elder Anderson came to the ROB for an ICS Devotional. Prior to the start of the devotional he came to our area of the building to thank us for our contribution to the new site. It is always an amazing thing to be able to shake the hand of an apostle, but then to spend a few minutes with him and have him repeatedly express his gratitude for our work was very humbling. At one point he stated that "all those nights when you are working late and you wonder if anyone knows or cares....believe me, the brethren do know, and we are grateful."
As Elder Andersen spoke to us in the devotional, he reminded us that we are involved in a great work and we are helping to spread the gospel message throughout the world.
So, to Lisa, Tyler, Travis, Jared, Ryan, Mike, Bill, Tom, Stewart, Blake, Ian K., Will, Newton, Ehren, Dan, Rich, Dale, Paul, Jason, Chris, Kaleb, Dave, Chris, Curtis, Uri, Danny, John, Reed, Ian R., Jeff, Sean, Roman, and the many others who have contributed - you guys are amazing and it's been a privilege to work with you on this project.

Congrats on the release and thanks for including me in the credits (unless there is a different Travis working there now). I do keep checking the site frequently to see as things change. You are definitely doing a good job. I like what I see. Keep up the good work.
