"Please mind the gap"

Everytime we get off the subway, there is a very polite voice that tells us to mind the gap between the train and the platform. This has become our token phrase of the trip because we have heard it so often.

We left London on Tuesday and headed to the country. We arrived in Salisbury and spent just over a day there. We visited Stonehenge, Old Sarum, and the Salisbury Cathedral. We then took the train to Bath, which is where we are currently. Bath is fascinating to me, as it is a spot where old Roman Baths were located. We visited the Roman baths today and it blew me away that they had figured out plumbing and heating way back then. Simply amazing.

Tomorrow we are headed back into London for more sightseeing and for general conference (we wanted to be able to understand it), and then Monday we take the chunnel into France.
